Ottaviani History

Passion is the “trait d'union” that links a family with the success in a given field. Since 1945 the Ottaviani family has been working in the silver sector and the name of the family is synonymous with talent, innovation, professionalism and experience.
The initial production of golden and silver sacred goods, to meet the needs of the nearby Sanctuary of Our Lady in Loreto, the company success in this field, after a few years, and the growth of a company culture in the precious metals sector laid the foundations of the Ottaviani School and the development of a silver district in the area of Recanati. As it often happens, the passion for one’s job and the desire to move ahead and give this traditional metal innovative shapes, have allowed the company to specialise in the silver working sector and implement a far-sighted approach in the precious metal galvanic electroplating field, thus developing a wide range of precious coated objects that had never been available on the market. This “ creative vein” and the usual commitment are still present, thus giving the brand a unique Italian style and value at international level.
Ottaviani silverware does not need many words; its visual language is the typical one of precious and rare handicrafts, of a well-known and traditional style that is not afraid of time, of elegance combined with modern design, with an eye to the traditional principles of beauty, balance and pure lines. These objects are part of our daily life, reflect our habits, meet our needs and, thanks to their unique features, can express images and shapes, encourage synaesthesia and reciprocity of feelings and moods. They are no longer mere objects, but handicrafts with their own feelings, to be treasured and shared, rather than just stored away.
